easter weekend florists madness!

Hello everyone

hope you had a great Easter weekend and enjoyed the wonderful sunshine. We had a great weekend in the shop and at home with friends and family. In the shop we are selling spring flowers such as tulips, renunkola and anenome as fast as we can buy them in! Spring flowers are available for such a short time that it seems criminal not to enjoy them when you can!

Our new range of plants for home and gifts is going really well. Lots of nice plants in funky and cute containers and pots. Easy to pick up and go!

Our next Flower Design Day Course at Broadfield Court is next saturday. Again we have sold out which is fab! The feedback from the first day was great, with two lovely ladies travelling all the way from Leeds to join in..... now that's a love of flowers!

We are planning and inspiration trip to Amsterdam in June this year. We will go for a weekend and visit loads of florists to get summer design inspiration from the masters. Can't wait!!

A great weekend

Hello everyone,

After weeks of shocking weather we finall had a lovely end to the week and a great weekend of sunshine. We loaded up with a wonderful array of spring flowers and the shop was full of amazing spring scents.

Hyacinth, tulips, ranunkula, anenome and Narcissi from the Isle os Scilly all fill the shop with a colour and fragrance we wait the whole year for. We have our narcissi flown in from the Isle of scilly and the scent fom these beautiful flowers is almost unbelievable!

All the girls are producing some beautiful spring bouquets now and the combinations of parrot tulips, hyacinth and anenome have a real wow factor.

The sad news is that all these beautiful spring flowers will be gone soon, so get the most out of this awesome time of year and make sure your house is filled with the colour and scent of spring!

If you can't enjoy them the send flowers to someone who can!!!!

Easter Weekend

Hello there

from everyone at the hibiscus room we wish you a fabulous Easter Weekend! After a silly couple of weeks during which we have had Valentines Day, Mothering Sunday and Easter all florists ned a rest!!

we are truly into spring flowers and is there anything more beautiful than the white and green parot tulip? We call this flower the purists flower as they are wonderfully understated but when placed in any situation, they lend a soft beauty that cannot be ignored.

Anenomes and Renunculas are in full flight now and combining these delicate flowers with other spring flowers like Hyacinth produces wonderfully scented bouquets that last and last, filling the house with the colours and perfumes of the new season.

Pretty shades of purple and pink, lovely bright contrasts of yellow and purple, burnt oranges and reds all combine to fill the hibiscus room full of colour.

We love spring, and thank goodness it has finally sprung!
