Hello everyone,
After a super week we headed into the weekend knowing that we had to complete 18 funeral arrangements to be delivered on Monday. Every arrangement was unique and this meant all the girls working saturday and part of Sunday. There was snow, sunshine, wind, hail and just about everything else that could fall from the sky but this did not stop our wonderful team from producing a beautiful array of floral tributes.
It is never easy dealing with people who have suffered a terrible loss. Often you are left feeling a little helpless as those in front of you struggle with their emotions. But as a proffesional you must always ensure that the flowers they choose are right for them and the occassion.
Looking after our customers is one of the great pleasures of working at the hibiscus room and while dealing with funeral flower arrangements can be a delicate matter, knowing that the family will have beautiful flowers with which to celebrate a loved ones' life is of great satisfaction.
Life as a florist is varied and interesting, you never know who will walk through the door and why they want your flowers. Talking with people, understanding what they want and delivering a product that exceeds their expectation is our aim with every customer.
for more on life as a florist in rural England....... stay tuned!
cheers
